As a result of California’s Safe Surrender Baby Law, an L.A. County specific Safe Surrender program was created. We developed and implement the “No Shame, No Blame, No Names” public information campaign, in several languages, to ensure anonymity when surrendering a baby within 72 hours after birth. Since the campaign launched, the number of abandoned babies has steadily decreased.
